In this fourth volume, Jan van Rijckenborgh continues his analysis of the Corpus Hermeticum by discussing the spiritual wisdom hidden in books 13 through 17 of this manuscript. The author gives a foretaste of the heights of the spiritual path, the glory that awaits the reborn soul. He shows that the goal of liberation the seeker so deeply longs for is not a distant wish, but an accessible and attainable spiritual reality in the here and now.

Through the application of the fivefold Gnostic path - insight, longing, self- sacrifice, a new mode of life, and the birth of the new soul - Jan van Rijckenborgh shows how this inner journey will bring about the sanctification and liberation of the microcosm from the world of transience.
